Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Kaye & Dale in the beautiful village of Hooton Pagnell.

The day was fantastic to photograph & I was made to feel really welcome by the couple, family & friends. I even got to meet Colin the Cockatiel whilst I was photographing Kaye's preparation images!

After the church service in which Kaye arrived in the fabulous camper van from The Kombie Couple, we shot the group shots in the church grounds. A short journey to the village of Hooton Pagnell & we arrived at the venue, The Hostel. Alison, the events manager & her staff ensured the day ran perfectly & the venue is highly recommended.

Whilst the Wedding Breakfast was taking place, I explored the village for the couples evening portrait session. We shot in some beautiful locations, even borrowing a families driveway which they were more than happy to help us with! I left the couple & all the guests on the dancefloor, still going strong to the sounds of a fantastic wedding band, The Jives.

I want to thank Kaye & Dale for booking myself to shoot the wedding & wish them all the best for the future together, they make an awesome couple!

\\\ Saltaire Wedding Photography \\ Saltaire \\ Shona & Andrew

A couple of weeks ago I caught up with an awesome couple (Shona & Andrew) in Saltaire. With the couples wedding coming up later this year, we planned the shoot for a summer evening a while ago.

We started up on the moor's in Baildon & shot some images on the rocks making use of the beautiful vista behind. My style of photography is very much relaxed & unobtrusive, this then lets my couples naturally interact with both each other & myself. So with this mind we captured some great shots of them enjoying the surroundings of the moors & a little later when we moved down in Saltaire.

It was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours with Shona & Andrew again & I'm really looking forward to capturing the wedding day.

\\\ Yorkshire Wedding Photographer \\ Kirsty & Jonathan \\ The Three Acres

I photographed the wedding of Kirsty & Jonathan last month in a small village in the beautiful Yorkshire landscape. The wedding was all about celebration & fun all day & I will certainly remember it this way!

I started the day as I always do by capturing the getting ready shots. I arrived at the couples home just as Kirsty got back from the hairstylist. Soon after we were joined by the rest of Kirsty's family including the couples son, Jamie. Jamie put on his favourite film 'The Lion King' & started to show me all his dance moves which you can see from the photographs below. You could tell he was excited for his Mum & Dad's big day already!

We then moved to the church of St Saviour's in Harden, a small & beautiful village church. I met Jonathan there who didn't appear too nervous & within ten minutes the service was under way. As you can see from the images there was lots of smiles & laughter throughout the service too! After the service, all the guests including the couple hopped onto the vintage bus & made the short journey to the reception at The Three Acres.

The venue is set upon the hills & has great views of the landscape all the way round. Kirsty had tipped me off that as the guests started to eat the wedding breakfast, a live performer would come out as a suprise. It certainly was a Freddie Mercury Tribute act called Joey Linden, jumped & stood on tables whilst belting out Queen's hit's throughout the afternoon. Everyone loved this suprise & really joined in. It made a great change for me too as normally at the wedding breakfast I just let everyone enjoy the food & I have a little break!

We then had a small portrait session with group shots & couple shots. The weather was clear but quite cold so I had to work quickly to capture everything. Once we all got warm back inside the venue then the band had set up for the evening. Kirsty & Jonathan got the dancing underway with the first dance to a Mumford & Sons song played really well by the band. After that it was everyone on the dancefloor where I stayed to capture all the action for an hour.

I had so much fun shooting this wedding & the day seemed to fly by as it was filled with laughter. Kirsty & Jonathan are a great couple & it was a pleasure to be part of the day & capture all the great moments. All the best guys & I hope your marriage is filled with more great moments!
